LumoSpot

LumoSpot follows the sun across 4,055 terraces in 38 places in the Netherlands. For every bar, café and restaurant terrace it works out, for each quarter of an hour, whether the sun reaches it or a building is in the way, using the measured height and shape of the buildings around it. That is why two terraces on the same square can have very different sun: one gets the morning, the other the evening.
